Supporting youth athletics

Since 1991, the Pelican Bay Athletic Organization (PBAO) has been dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of local youth and families throughout Del Norte and Curry Counties. Through fundraising, volunteer service, and community partnerships, PBAO provides financial support to youth athletic programs, scholarships, educational opportunities, and community-based initiatives that help young people grow, compete, and succeed.

What began as a small organization supporting employee athletic programs has evolved into a community-focused nonprofit committed to investing in the future of our region. Over the years, PBAO has proudly supported a wide range of programs and organizations, including local school sports, scholarship programs, CASA, Santa’s Workshop, Safe and Sober Graduation events, 4-H, youth boxing, rodeo, bowling, wrestling, football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, track and field, and many other youth-centered activities.
